If you can't stand and face the flag, put your right hand over your heart and at least, keep your mouth shut, or recite the Pledge of Allegiance, you:

1. Probably weren't born in the U.S.
2. Definitely didn't attend Primary school in the U.S.
3. Definitely didn't attend Elementary school in the U.S.

Thanks for the informative posting. I only got half way through reading, so will continue later.

I believe a NBC must be born under US jurisdiction to parents who both are US citizens. I’m open to reading the various opinions regarding the issue, though.

Seems to me that if a elected official makes a statement that clearly demonstrates a disregard for the Constitution they swore to uphold, they need to be relieved of “service”.
