These gasbags, especially the gasbag-in-charge, never miss an opportunity to keep the wedge in American society. They’ve made careers out of maintaining the differences they yammer about removing.

No he did not. The deficit had returned before he ever signed a budget. The Republicans were also in charge of the Congress during most of the Clinton years.
In any event you completely missed the point of the response. Essentially you took Obama's side, which given the facts, does not make any sense. The deficits under the Republicans were too large, no question - but a $300 billion deficit would be much easier to correct and bring back to balance than $1.6 trillion deficits.
