[A Big Green crazy world domination lunatic who wanted to destroy all cars would make far more sense in a CARS themed movie.]
So true. Or how about the big eared politician trying to get gas guzzling Mater sent off to Cash for Clunkers. lol
Tell me how the young impressionable child can be a proper judge of whether or not a movie has a harmful agenda.
Ask the child if they will be bothered by a leftist agenda that you believe is in the movie. If they don’t have a clue what you are talking about, then they probably won’t be bothered by it.
Now, you tell me how a child can get a bad impression from Cars 2.
My daughter asked me about the navy ship (LCS version) that was working for hte bad guys. She wanted to know if we really had laser designated missiles, and whether or not there was electromagnetic energy used. I gave her the UNCLAS version of our deployed systems....
I asked her about the bad guy scenario, she said that she thought the ship had “gone bad” and that the movie wasn’t trying to make the USN seem bad. She is 13 and loves science.
But because the child will watch these shows over and over they will unthinkingly absorb the value sytem promoted;hence the reason parents should know, care, and be able to decide what the parent believes is good for the child.
Good parents keep poisonous chemicals away from their children;why do you have a problem with parents keeping poisonous ideas away?
And do not think young children don't soak up what they see and hear.
I don’t have a problem with parents parents keeping poisonous ideas away?
I just don’t think this movie contains poisonous ideas.
They’re your kids, do as you wish.
