Okay, I have had it with these TSA goons and molesters! This has got to stop. I propose today a US Constitutional Admendment starting to outlaw the TSA! Our politicians are not doing anything except allowing these crimes to carry on, and their enablers in the TSA administration are all criminals too!
As some form of justice in this insane incident, I sure hope that the diaper the TSA agent asked her to remove was filled.
Remove the soiled diaper to then do .... what? Just what on earth was the soiled diaper preventing them from doing?
The daughter should have had one, I agree. Maybe she didn't have room for one (although they do fold up small, when they're fresh) but I'm thinking she didn't know it would be necessary. Some diapers are designed to be worn just to catch accidents, not for complete incontinence, and all the excitement of being at the airport may have given her mother a problem that wasn't normal or expected, as a young child can have a problem. That's my guess. I've taken care of Alzheimer's patients, and not all are incontinent, and most aren't all the time.
Also, the anticipated length of the trip may not have been long. Also, the spare may already have been used earlier.
Yes, I believe it's because TSA hires a lot of people with double-digit IQs and then gives them some authority.
So, you have a lot of power tripping going on at those checkpoints.
I'm so sorry about what happened to you in '08. That's just reprehensible. Words cannpt convey my disgust at those idiots threatening a grieving person like that.
then why have the searches
“crying can be as reflexive and uncontrollable as hiccups. How dare they demand you stop.”
That’s exactly what it was — a visceral reflex and stress release. After weeks of family being tightly wound and trying to be strong as he faded, when he died, the bottled-up emotions needed to “let go”. It was a reflex more than sadness at that point.
I have to fly in July and am terrified — not of the flight, but of the TSA thugs. It’ll be between smaller airports this time, so maybe it won’t be so bad.
I fly often enough to have seen that the smaller airports are better.
As soon as the terrorists figure this out, they will never again enter from a major aiport. They will enter in Ottumwa Iowa or some place like that. Then travel from these places will become just as restrictive and intimidating as places like Detroit or O’Hare.
