Drill in ANWAR, for 10 billion barrels or recoverable oil?
No. It will have no impact on prices.
Unleash 60 million barrels onto the markets?
Yes. It will save the world economy.
Wont ANWAR produce up to 1.4% of the world’s oil supply?
Yes. A pitifully small amount.
Why are we unleashing the strategic petroleum reserve?
To save the world from a 2% supply disruption due to Libya. Its a huge amount, which is a national security threat.
