No quite serious now you need a valid driver’s license or state ID to register a car in Ohio. Both forms of ID reauire you to have to prove in the state 6 months to obtain and when getting you have to prove you are a citizen or you will get one that says clearly across the front that you are not a citizen and it can’t be used for work:

I believe they have filed suit agaisnt it but for now it is the law.
