Thanks, yeah, both links were the same song but your link had the original video.
Believe it or not, I think I actually have that 45RPM somewhere.
That’s two of the originals gone now. Danny Federici died of cancer at 58 about three years ago.
LOL! Yep- I still have a lot of my 45’s..packed away somewhere. I loved music then- there was melody.
Clarence and his sax...good times.
RIP
RIP, Clarence, you gave the E Street Band it’s exhilarating sound.
What an outstanding talent. RIP and thanks for providing such a beautiful soundtrack to life, big man...
Bought a ticket in high school or just after, I thought no one would go because the music was well for greasers, man was I wrong. For many of us, the early albums were part of the sound track of our lives. To bad Bruce is a leftist loon..
As much as I like "Thunder Road" this song features the whole band with a neurotic intensity, "She's the One" The "Big Man" makes this song, try to invision a version of it with out him......
Never listened to him because I couldn’t stand his Boss. Maybe I missed out, but music from outspoken, obnoxious liberals like Springsteen is spoiled for me. Same for Bon Jovi, John Mellencamp, Green Day, Pearl Jam, etc. I even have a hard time listening to Paul McCartney and the Beatles, and that’s a pity because I loved the Beatles.
“I feel so old....”
Me too...
Clarence was the heart and soul of The E Street Band.
I remember a lot of good times listening to them, “down the shore” in the seventies.
I’ll second that!!!!
Great song.
I have every album. Sadly,I haven’t listened in years. Springsteen the Socialist, really ticks me off.
Goodnight Santa ;(
