THAT is a salient observation. Hide bound fundamentalists of all stripes are joyless creatures overcome by the need to control other people. Elitists and liberals are similarly rigid ideologues intent on imposing their will on lesser mortals.
The nature police are among the worse offenders. In Md. it is illegal for a child to turn over a rock in a stream and catch a crayfish. Those were some of my most cherished times in my childhood, stolen from an entire generation by evil men of evil intent.
It is a demonic force that drives these purblind bigots to their dictatorial conceits.
