This bill should be a no-brainer; but then again not too many brains in Congress.

If the will of the people were being heeded that repeal should have sailed through Congress with virtually no opposition. Obama will still likely veto the bill even if it does pass.

I believe it is important to listen to those I have been elected to represent, which is why I personally read and sign all of my legislative mail. Due to the large volume of correspondence received every day, >>>I only respond to residents of Michigan’s Sixth Congressional District.<<< To ensure your message receives a timely response, please be sure include all of your contact information, even if you would prefer to receive a response via e-mail.

If your message is of an urgent, personal nature, please call one of my offices directly. If you require assistance with a government department or agency, please contact either my Kalamazoo (269-385-0039) or St. Joseph/Benton Harbor (269-982-1986) office.

To schedule a meeting, arrange for a tour, purchase a flown U.S. flag, or apply for a D.C. internship, please contact my Washington office (202) 225-3761. Local internships and non-flown U.S. flags are also available in both District offices.

Due to security screening, mail addressed to my Washington office will experience a delay. Therefore, if you are sending mail to the Washington office, you may wish to consider faxing your correspondence to (202) 225-4986. If you prefer, you may mail your correspondence to either District office and your mail will be forwarded to Washington.

Apparently Fred only reads email from his own district, despite being on the Energy committee.

He has a little zip code filter on his web site.

If you go here... https://upton.house.gov/Contact/default.aspx

or try here...https://upton.house.gov/Contact/ContactForm.htm

You can use one of these zip codes from his 6th district.

You can get Decade Bulbs (incandescent) which will last almost ten years with 7 hours a day average use from this company that sells them to the hospitality industry. They burn just a tad less bright than standard bulbs for the given wattages so they’ll last longer.

Get ‘em while you still can!

But Upton’s committee has not yet held a hearing on the bill

Same thing happened with Commiecare™.

LED lightbulbs last a very long time and they don’t have the mercury problem.
