I take it for granted that 17 year old girls on the internet who want to flirt with middle aged men are actually coppers trolling for pervs. Obviously, I am way to cynical.
A common question from several women I know with children or grand children re the Whining Weiner has been, “How many underage girls were subjected to his porn reach out activities.
The most interesting was from a lady lawyer in her early 40’s, a confessed conservative independent politically.
She said that she would be surprised if he didn’t try to arrange meetings with females from their teens to whatever age. She said if the media really did an investigation on Weiner, he might end up as the Tiger Wood wanna be in Congress. Her prediction was that either a heavy hitter Democrat or Republican would end up with some really serious proof that Weiner was a dangerous/uncontrollable serial pervert and demand that he resign to spend more time with his wife. We will not know why, but he will resign and sneak away.
Rangel is totally corrupt. And Rangel forgot about his pal, Eliot Spitzer, a Demoncrat. And John Edwards, the guy for whom he voted to be Vice President. And Bawney Frank.
RE: Could Weiner be charged with a crime because she is a minor? If so, that would really force his hand to resign, maybe.
Many people would like to see that happen, However, the best way to prove a crime is to read the CONTENT of the exchanges.
If all it is is friendly chit chat, it will be very difficult to prove a crime.
