He will never call the FBI and is just trying to drag it out until people forget. The GOP has a opportunity to get rid of a really nasty slimeball. Mary Bono has the powesr to hold hearings as a chairperson of a subcommittee under the commerce committee. She should hold a one-day hearing, let weiner tell his story under oath, then subpoena Twitter records. Why doesn’t the GOP have the guts to do it? The Dems would have already done it if the roles were reversed. Well, perhaps that wouldn’t be necessary. If it was someone on our side, we would have pressured him to resign.

I guess that Weiner’s computer wasn’t the only that was hacked.

I hadn’t see the photo of his shorts before, but in the Washington, D.C. area near the airport there is a place that was obviously named for them. It is called “Haines Point”.

However, as I have said before, I think the media has made this something out of nothing.

I tried to have a Nathan’s hotdog the other night, but after looking at it, all I could do was think of Anthony Weiner. I dropped it, hit it with a fly swatter, and fed it to the cats. Guess I won’t be having a Weiner-roast until this thing dies down, or as we used to say in the newspaper business, until the story goes limp.

Well, we can relish it while it lasts. I wonder what Weiner’s next up-and-coming screw-up will be. Just can’t wait.
