And, I’m certain that all anti-gun advocates won’t in any way attempt to spin the “citizen’s” comments to portray his words as evidence that “assault” rifles should be banned/sarc.

I am a Floridian, and I
thought that the state Legislature had passed statutes specifically designed to prevent exactly this type of Second Amendment shenanigans from county and municipal entities.
I guess I'll have to double check.
In any event, this is actually good news, because it will likely cause a backlash against the petty authoritarian turds who sometimes populate these local governments...
