Bankruptcy is California’s future and likely only positive way to change direction. Of course, when bankruptcy comes, the leaches are going to move to another state... But that’s how the leaches arrived in California in the first place...

We may never know how many times he was blackmailed into his actions.

My thoughts exactly. When I first heard the news of his love child, I noted the timing of such news. It was after his last term. That stinks of blackmail.

So, it's still HIS fault! What was he doing that got him blackmailed? You don't get blackmailed for going to church. Just sayin'.

he could have advanced the cause of fiscal conservatism by simply vetoing everything that came to his desk.

I’m sure Patty would have been happy to massage his wrist and hand after vetoing all the leftist legislation that passed thru his office. Oh wait. He had a masseuse to handle that, huh?

He can’t be blamed for creating it, but he could have advanced the cause of fiscal conservatism by simply vetoing everything that came to his desk.

Who told us we had to borrow to ease the fiscal crisis when we took over with Props. 56 & 57, complete with language destroying what remained of the successful Gann spending limits? Who promised to "cut up the credit cards? Who submitted all those excessive budgets? Who hired all those greenie bureaucrats to institute more bogus regulations?

Arnold deserves every bit of the blame he's getting, and more.

This may explain Arnold’s sudden swing to the left!

The swing left came after a year of $100m union-run attack ads and the complete failure of his reform agenda in 2005. Voters abandoned him and he ran left for survival starting with the hiring of Davis' chief of staff.

Ahnold became a puss-whipped wimp at the hands of his leftist, Kennedy wife. That is, if he wasn’t always a flaming super RINO and limp-wristed, McCain/Grahamnesty moderate. That’s what led to any trouble he caused in Kalifornia.
