Tiger was that you?
IMHO...
The good guys need to control LE. The anti-LE posts I keep seeing are disturbing.
Once LE gets so bad that good people can’t rely on it, we have big problems and they need to be fixed.
Just the other day here in Michigan, police arrested 3 mexican illegals for assault and conspiracy to commit murder. The guy they beat down didn’t even have anything to do with the murder plot, he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
On a serious note, prayers up for this man's and the family.
Congratulations for one of the stupidest posts ever at FR.
Frostbutt didn’t get banned YET. Why?
Good grief this was in a different state and we don’t even know if the deputy was ever in a SWAT team at all let alone a hinky, suspicious raid like the one on the Marine in Pima County, Arizona under Sheriff Doofus Assparty.
I wonder if this was a particularly audacious gang initiation.
I don’t follow. The police arrested the right 3 guys, or the wrong 3 guys? Who was plotting to kill who?
Cartels send a message... lemme guess could it be “we hate the sheriff”?
Now every once in a blue moon, sheriffs and deputies get themselves mixed up in drug trade, but the gangs usually leave those compromised occifers alone because they will tend to nod and wink.
Not feeling sympathy seems a bit much given what we know - he could have been an upstanding man.
Not being surprised - that seems reasonable given what we’ve seen/heard about LE overreach of late.
I don’t think this was random violence. It sounds like someone wanted to target a cop when he wasn’t paying attention, and take him out. Maybe not any cop in particular, just one they could kill and get away with.
That’s not random. There’s a purpose in that. Stupid and crazy isn’t that tactically sound. This is the same way that cops would get gunned down in Mexico (before they got more overt about it). ‘Sicarios’, assassins, using motorcycles or small cars, would gun down lone targets then drive off and vanish.
Most cops, at heart are great cops and good men.
We don’t need to slaander them as a group.
likely gang/drug related and they were sending a message.....question is.....was it because he was a good cop.....or because he was a bad cop......
prayers for his family........
Prayers up for the fallen officer and his kin, and fingers crossed that the scum who did this are quickly apprehended.
The ambush of any LEO is a serious, serious thing, beyond the tragic loss of life. It’s a blow at society and the community.
This sounds like something the drug cartels in Mexico would do.
I hope they kill or capture the shooters in short order.
Bexar County and San Antonio are quite a ways away from the border with Mexico (remember Texas is BIG)... But this area is in the middle of various gangs... And then there could be other entanglements ...
Wow! What a shock to the family... prayers be with them..
Prayers for his family and prayers for the world we live in that incidents like this ever even happen.
We don’t know the specifics. perps are perps Bad, evil, etc. The guy is probably guilty as hell.
But some cops are just as bad, but with a badge. Hold on, I’m not indicting police, but there are those cops that generate a terrible name for themselves. Mostly covered up by their respective organizations and we never hear about it.
I love law enforcement, but they have many bad apples as well as any other organization.
The pd will start investigating this execution/murder by looking at the officers bank accounts and searching the officers home and any storage facilities he may have....that is if they want to find the killer... if they don’t do that they already know what’s up.
Police arrested the right guys. The illegals were planning on killing one man but the man they attacked just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Just goes to show that we need these animals out of our country.
