Since the Catholic church is choosing to involve themselves in all-things political which they are banned from doing vis-a-vis their tax-exempt status with the IRS tax code then perhaps the public tax-payers should demand that their exempt status be pulled and let them start paying Caesar what he is owed by the politically pandering church. They want it both ways. Enough already.

Why does the Catholic Church support illegal activity and violation of sovereign borders?
My family is Hispanic and Irish and I was brought up in the Catholic Church. I decided when I was in Elementary School, about 50 years ago, the Catholic Church wasn't for me. With the exception of their position on abortion and other life issues, I don't agree with them on anything. I grew up in Southern Arizona. For as long as I can remember, they have always turned a blind eye toward illegals. There isn't enough bandwidth here on FR to air the rest of my grievances with the Catholic Church.

That is weak vaquero

Catholic clergy in this nation do appear to be soft on illegals for whatever reason

the fact that one looney protestant preacher talks nonsense has nothing to do with that fact

there are even some liberal protestant denominations soft on illegals too
But that doesn’t erase Catholic complicity in this issue either

These Catholics must be Maryknolls
