Thanks for replying to me. I pinged you because I knew that you wuld know that Ailes is not a true conservative, but he did help Ronald Reagan. I enjoyed the photo of RWR I posted [jelly bellies in plain view] and also the other link in the photo gallery.

I like Roger Ailes and wish him a long life and hope his health permits him to stay with Fox for a good many more years.

Rolling Stone is just jealous they can’t be as effective in their propaganda for the left.

Wonderful photo! We sure miss him, but he LIVED life and we’re the better for the way he lived his life. God bless and hold dear our beloved President Reagan.

Roger Ailes is the Colonel Parker of conservatism. He dumbed everything down for the mass market. I think he's horrible.

This is gonna be a crazy, nasty year plus of lies, distortions and bold, vicious tactics. They’ve got their artillery aimed, full barrel at anything and everything they can conjure and manufacture to target mayhem and malevolence on their enemies .. and that’s precisely how they view us .. mortal enemies. This will be the bloodiest of wars. God help us.

Another FNC hit piece Rush mentioned:

“Fox News Viewers are Most Uninformed” study gets facts wrong (World Public Opinion, Clay Ramsay, Steven Kull, Evan Lewis)

http://24ahead.com/fox-news-viewers-are-most-uninformed-study-gets-facts-wrong

Tell me .. why didn’t our guys or SOMEbody respond to Dingy Reid’s reaction to NY26 .. “the voters have spoken” referencing Medicare, blah blah .. by referencing the November election and Obamacare and the mandate that was ??

“I heard Charles K on FOX the other day saying that Roger Ailes founded FOX News looking for a niche market and he found one.
It turns out that it was over 50% of the American population.”

Big niche. The networks and newspapers are covering for Barack instead of publishing news and people are catching onto that.

WHat then would He (author) call ABC, NBC, CBS, and Pbs.. Agitprop advertisers?
If I know anything about RS, he'd call them "slightly right of center," if not swallowing that whole "corporate media" meme.

And folks, let's not forget RS is a key bellwether for us:
1) Read any article.
2) Believe, and do, the exact opposite.

My point is Rush Limbaugh didn’t create a conservative mentality in America. Conservative Americans already existed. Rush filled the void of someone who could verbalize better than anyone else what conservatives were thinking.

I had a discussion with a friend about this article yesterday. He is pretty far left and agrees with everything in this article. I asked him if he realized how elitist he sounded--his argument basically being that conservatives are too stupid to weigh the issues and reach their own conclusions and therefore must have been brainwashed by Fox.

He ended with a plea for the return of the fairness doctrine, which I said was evil.

There are a lot of people out there lapping up this assault on Fox unquestioningly. Fortunately most of them would never vote for a conservative under any circumstances. Still, I hate it when truth is distorted.

I had stopped at a liberal friends earlier this morning and saw the RS issue on the floor. I scanned the article and had a good laugh.

As I was waiting for him to get ready to go fishing I put on F&F just for background noise. He came running out and changed the channel saying “We don’t watch the lies on that channel”.

My debate with him was essentially the same as yours. He stated that pmsnbc was the only news source where you could find the truth.

He’s a good friend despite his oblivious, kool-aid drinking leftist mindset. Unfortunately he will not open his eyes to see the truth. I pray for him that he does.
