I should amend the previous estimate to 70 percent in cities of 300,000 up. People think he is looking “after them.”

After 23 years, the Rush commentary is getting stale. He also defended GWB long after it was indefensible to do so.

...the presidential race IS as much about a popularity contest than it is about issues.

Unfortunately that is very true. However, that could be an asset for Cain.

Frank Luntz in one of his balanced focus groups asked them to name the primary characteristic of Cain and the reply was overwhelmingly "likable". Luntz appeared visibly shocked and not too pleased...

Any Poll that has the second most liberal guy in the GOP leading, has to be jacked up.

One of the best ways to tell when how well you candidate is doing by how much the Paulist throw mud at them!

The poll measured support for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who says he will not run, at 17 percent. Cain was preferred by 14 percent and Texas Rep. Ron Paul by 10 percent.

The sooner people cut loose with that nutcase Wrong Paul the better. He will never be elected president of the U.S. Ever.

Cain had a whole $13 when he appeared on Cavuto a couple days ago. Maybe he’s up to $20!

An internet money bomb will blow that out of the water in a single night.

You hallucinating? Rush is no way for Pawlenty or Romney. That is the most ridiculous accusation against Rush I’ve heard, and I’ve heard plenty. He said Pawlenty came across well on the interview he had with him. Big deal.

Pawlenty called Rush and asked to be on. Rush said that since he’s interviewed other candidates (he doesn’t try to get candidates on but will let them on if they call and ask) he said yes.

As for Romney, Rush can’t stand Romneycare. Literally is
apoplectic over it. Also Rush despises taxes, and your selling the notion that he likes the former governor of TAXACHUSETTS??

He also said that if Herman Cain asks to be on the show, he will put him on.

I am just saying that when I listened to him at lunch the other day when Daniels was out, he started to list off who the potential candidates that are now left. He pretty much said that Romney and Pawlenty were it, that one of them would get the nod. During the hour that I listened he said NOT a word about Cain, it was as if Cain wasn’t even a thought. I kept wanting him to bring Cain’s name up, but he didn’t.

I listen to Rush all the time. He has talked about Herman Cain, says he likes Herman Cain and trusts he will call and ask to be on the show.

You have to understand that Rush tends to talk about what is happening each day. Pawlenty announced and asked to be on Rush’s show that day.

Romney??

I know Rush cannot stand Romney’s policies. He despises Romneycare and he despises taxes. The idea that he is for either of these people is just impossible, completely impossible.

If he commented on Romney, the snippet I heard was something about Romney having all the money and all the name ID at this point. Realistically, he’s right about Romney being a huge player.

But you and I and Rush all know Romney is fatally flawed.

I heard a caller to a talk show the other day make the perfect summation of Mitt. He said, Romney looks good on paper (we could argue that but I won’t right now), but he is a poor retail politician. This goes beyond the man’s suspect principles and really nails Romney, IMO. The guy is a complete bomb when it comes to being a man of the people. This is at the gut level.

That's ridiculous. Republicans are a bunch of racists. Oh, I know. They don't realize he's black.

Well, I'm sure Whoopie would be the first to point out, he's not "black" black.
Not like our first black president - Clinton - or our first 13% black president.

“An internet money bomb will blow that out of the water in a single night. “

Only the Demoncrats posses those type bombs.

Obama is not trying to “raise a billion dollars”. He already HAS a billion dollars and what they really mean is they just need to launder it through the internet as “individual contributions”.

Actually, given the demonization of some of those candidates, I’m surprised it is that LOW. And I wonder what the “Never” number looked like for McCain, who got the nomination?
