I actually feel sorry for Maria. Her voice to me is like nails on a chalkboard and I hate her politics, and she even knew her man was a cheater, but this really was too much.
That is a big bleeping deal, to have this 10-year lie, affair, child, In Her Home. Someone did say that the only reason for a wife t o leave her own home, where her children are, would be if the man cheated in the house. And he really did.

In my mind Arnold had gone down in estimation to the absolute bottom, commuting the murder sentence of his crony’s son on his last moment in office, not even letting the victim’s family known advance. That was pure evil.
Now he has sunk in my mind to lower than possible. He had such promise to be a walking American Dream story but he has turned it into the American Nightmare. And he could not care less. He’s going to be in three new movies and this stupid cartoon. Ugh.
it may have been possible that he was blackmailed. Even if not, this is a reason why this sort of hidden secrets should not tolerated.

My two cents...she knew about it long ago..either he confessed, or she found out. Agreed to keep silent, so as not to damage his career..she was invested in it...also explains why the staffer was kept on all these years...otherwise she could have sued them..anyways, I think Maria was the one who leaked the story..why..she wants a BIGGER piece in the divorce...supposedly there was a pre-marital, but they usually are voided if one spouse commits no-nos...they denied all the reports of hanky-panky during the campaign, but now, she has proof...obvious..so, she'll get 50%, including half of whatever he gets for his new movie deal..
I recall when Shriver was a jourbilist. The news article was about a male elementary school teacher who had a photo of his boyfriend on his desk. The controversy was that the parents of one of his students had their son transferred to another classroom. Maria was shocked and actually asked, "Are they allowed to do that?"
