Well this is a much better attitude than CA, PA, NY, MA, IL, etc. BUT, it is still a PERMIT process. A permit means that you have to ask permission from the government to do it. If you have to ask permission it is not a right it is a privilege. You don't have to ask permission to exercise a right. So I stand by my statement that police don't believe in 2nd amend RIGHTs for anyone but police. Constitutional carry as in VT and AK is actually a right because you don't have to obtain the government's prior approval to exercise it.

NV is also an open carry state - so one doesn’t need a permit to carry. We just need one to CONCEAL carry. :)
