If he stopped the hunt for Domestic Communists, may he burn in hell.
now played by a corpse in “good bye and good riddance”.
Meanwhile, we’ve still got the commies destroying our country.
Yes and the Soviet archives proves that the Red Scare was real. And this feminine hygene product helped stop it? Burn in hell.
I agree. McCarthy was a hero and the Hollywood vermin should’ve been lined up against a wall and ended the same way they would’ve done it to everyone else if they’d had a their way.
‘Good Night and Good Luck’
I wonder if those were Mr. Wershba’s last words.
LOL.
The right was and is dead on.
And now the Rats are making communism mainstream.
Hope this POS burns.
“Controversial” hunt for Commies................we should still work to eliminate them from our government.
He helped expose the “Red Scare” which helped create the election of nobama 60 years later, who if re-elected will allow the “Red Scare” to reach it’s culmination.
What are you talking about?
Senator Joseph McCarthy was validated by Soviet Union records that proved that the people he was persuing were active on behalf of Soviet Communism. Some of them were actually on the Soviet payroll. That kind of thing was published on this site ages ago.

I meant what had to with Hollywood. Mccarthy was after communists in the State Dept. and Military.
and our schools, and our news organizations and our colleges and our churches...

Prayers for a misguided soul. McCarthy was right, the media was wrong.
And McCarthy was right.
McCarthy never found a single Communist in the federal government.
All McCarthy did was stand up, point out that the various government agencies had, themselves, found Communists within their own ranks, and then asked them what they intended to do about it.
The answer, of course, was they intended to do nothing. Because, as Whittaker Chambers explained:
At the basic point of the revolution the shift of power from business to government the two kinds of revolutionists were at one; and they shared many other views and hopes. Thus men who sincerely abhorred the word Communism, in the pursuit of common ends found that they were unable to distinguish Communists from themselves, except that it was the Communists who were likely to be most forthright and most dedicated in the common cause. For men who could not see that what they firmly believed was liberalism added up to socialism could scarcely be expected to see what added up to Communism. Any charge of Communism enraged them precisely because they could not grasp the differences between themselves and those against whom it was made.
