Was I supposed to get new boots? You must have seen the ones I wear everyday, they’re getting pretty bad, but I hate breaking in new boots. And it was my birthday last month!

Thought the Lightning were going to come back there late in the 3rd, but no such luck.
Daughter’s step daughter got her a cake, neighbor baked her a cake, and she bought herself a chocolate pie. glad most of them weren’t here, going into sugar shock as it is. :)

I finished the last of the Lemon Meringue pie this evening and yesterday it was a Yellow cake with chocolate frosting at the shop and Sunday it was all of the above plus everything else that is sweet at Church...

My Grandmother used to make the best one, actually out of sour oranges she got out in the country. Cannot figure out how she made three inch high meringue before air conditioning.
