It makes me upset that they are releasing info. On the photo of his command center.. it looks like a monitor to his right and another to his left. The power strip on the floor has a few plugs in it. CNN mentioned something about the older calculator that used paper. I also saw a drawing of the compound that had at least 2 sat dishes. Just my observation here.
Where was the dialysis machine?
“the largest trove of intelligence ever obtained from a single terrorism suspect”
Then WHY did Obama IMMEDIATELY announce the raid?
Even if Al Qaeda has infiltrated Pakistini ISI, it would have taken a while for the information to seep back to the other higher-ups in Al Qaeda. Why didn’t Obama keep his big yap SHUT for a few days?
Some news reports have referred to information on “safe houses” among the intel. That kind of intel needs to be used immediately, before it becomes widely known. Why did Obama announce it worldwide on TV within hours of the raid, destroying any intel that had a short shelf-life?
Why doesn’t anyone in the White House press corps ask the administration why they didn’t wait until after an attempt was made to use some of the most urgent intel before making an announcement?
Might of been a command center but it was definately a pig sty.
Does anyone doubt anymore that our government actively lies to us? I don’t mean they keep secrets. They deliberately and routinely lie to us. Not sure how long this has been going on. But the Dems sure started accusing Bush of it, “lied us into war”, etc. Maybe they stuck to that because they knew that it was common for Bubba and possibly other Presidents to lie, lie, lie. Of course the media thinks it is cute. Call it “spin”. Media lies are also evident and obvious. “Command center” my a$$!
“It’s bullshit,” said a senior Pakistani security official, when quizzed on a U.S. intelligence official’s assertion that bin Laden had been “active in operational planning and in driving tactical decisions” of the Islamist militant group from his secret home in the town of Abbottabad.
On Saturday, the White House released five video clips of bin Laden taken from the compound, most of them showing the al Qaeda leader, his beard dyed black, evidently rehearsing the videotaped speeches he sometimes distributed to his followers.
None of the videos was released with sound. A U.S. intelligence official said it had been removed because the United States did not want to transmit bin Laden’s propaganda. But he said they contained the usual criticism of the United States as well as capitalism.
