A ‘Just war” is never on the minds of the Muslims who have killed our children....they don’t adhere to International Standards in war....never will.

War is just that...people die..children die...that happens in war.

Did any of them think of children on 9/11? And frankly I’m not real keen about their children who are raised to hate from childhood....that hatred is fanned throughout their life until they determine time to kill the infidels.

Singing the “children” song is exactly what liberals do in our country...and use it as a smoke screen to the public. Gaddafi and his thugs will use this appeal as well...

but it’s never about the children or nobody would be burying little bodies now would they? Not now nor in history....wouldn’t happen...but it does.

True, and he does “claim” ownership to everything under his immagined authority.

Heard him today speak of the astronauts as “MY Astronauts”....it’s always his...never the peoples...never uses “our” as if one of us. It’s always his.

We are not muslims. Are we no longer adhering to the laws of war? Are we now uncivilized savages?

Qaddifi will be gone in two hours if every villa along the Mediterranean coast of his supporters is attacked. Actually, it has more impact if every third villa gets a missile (less expensive, and greater worry).
So waging war on civilians is now our culture? When did we resign from Christendom?

His 3 grandchildren had nothing to do with this; I think I am going to be sick.

I’m grateful those grandkids have been removed from that families influence.....only God knows the life they would have lived...or the lifes they would have taken being raised with the hatred and brutality of that family. God spared them IMO..and likely other children they may have murdered once adults.

When did we resign from Christendom?

It would be interesting understanding your definition of Christendom...most countries, including ours, no longer apply those principles except in writing...and nobody adheres to those anymore..rather make their own rules as they go.......and you expect Chriendom to come into play? Not going to happen in the world as it is today when it comes to war....just or not.

nope, the family home is not a military target. But like a hospital, a protected location loses protected status when a military target is hiding there.

Except Gaddafi is not a military target. We're not out for "regime change" on our "responsibility to protect" "no-fly zone" intervention.

Actually, Gaddafi is not a military target. That would be illegal.

Nope....and neither is anyone else.

Are we now uncivilized savages?

NATO is providing air cover in Libya solely to protect the civilian population, not to effect regime change or assassinate political figures, who are not legitimate targets.

The terms of engagement are irrelevant to killing the Colonel's family.

Like him or love him, this was murder, plain and simple.

Philippe Sands, professor of law at University College London stated:

“The authorisation of ‘all necessary measures’ is broad and appears to allow the targeting of Gaddafi and others who act to put civilians ‘under threat of attack’, words that go beyond the need to establish a connection with actual attacks,”.....he wrote in the Guardian last Friday.

Malcolm Shaw, professor of international law at Leicester University:

“Anything that supports Libyan jets – including the military command structure, airfields and anti-aircraft batteries – would be legitimate.”...........But, he cautioned, not all Libyan government sites could be hit: “I wouldn’t think that blowing up the finance ministry in Tripoli would be authorised.”

Ryszard Piotrowicz, professor of International Law at Aberystwyth University:

“The UN resolution appears to sanction attacks on Gaddafi. He told The Guardian: “The [attorney general’s] note fails to clarify the extent to which force might be used to protect civilians. Targeted attacks on senior Libyan officials might be justified if this is the only way to stop attacks on civilians. That would include an attack on Colonel Gaddafi himself. The government is acting prudently in not clarifying this now because to do so might limit its freedom of action later, or reveal just how far it is prepared to go.”

"Why"
You've heard of PanAm 103, right? Gaddafi needs to be brought to justice.

I am all for frontier justice, and I’d be first in line to be a trigger puller, but 23 years later ? That’s some late coming justice FRiend.

why not the north korean dictator?

You obviously don't UNDERSTAND W H O Obama is and W H Y he is doing things such as getting involved in the overthrow of Libya's government.

One of Obama's major goals is the destruction of Israel. By placing radical muslims in charge in Egypt and Libya, the three radical countries can team up against Israel for the final destruction of that country.

Then Europe.

Then the United States.

When protesters fought Iran's dictatorship, not a word from Obama. That is who he wants in power in Iran.

Egypt (Muslim Brotherhood) and Libya (Al Qaeda) are who he wants. We are already hearing how Egyptian radicals who Obama supports are planning conflicts with Israel.

Don't worry, you are surrounded by millions who can no longer think. Even when it has become obvious Obama is a Muslim who is using the US Military to put Al Qaeda in power in Libya, Americans will not even consider that is what is going on. They will instead rule out the obvious because that would mean Obama is a result of a conspiracy and that just couldn't happen in America.
