Post it so we can see exactly what you are looking at.:)
I really want to see...
Would somebody explain what I’m supposed to see, and how it is a forgery? I keep reading posts about opening it in Adobe Illustrator, but nobody explains what exactly about doing that means it is a fake. I don’t believe it is real, but where is the proof?
OMG! I see it! If you look closely, you can seethe watermark that says, “YOU PEOPLE ARE INSANE!”
I opened it in Inkscape which is a vector/svg program.
I un-grouped the image and can move text and signature blocks around.
When I move them the white imprint is left on the green security paper.
I don’t use PDF files so not sure what to make of this.
Who cares it is fun and aggrivates the media.
I have the same concerns I had with the Polarik(sp?) analysis. Many of the things some are looking at, such as image artifacts, etc are not the best to use and can actually lead you to a false conclusion when you are dealing with an image of an image. In this case, this is supposedly a copy of a document > scanned > uploaded. That is three layers of processing through computer programs that can add in these artifacts or other oddities. Those kind of proofs only really work on an original, not a copy of a copy of a copy.
If you want to debunk this, focus on factual issues or things like the infamous Buckhead discovery regarding fonts that arent correct (non existent for the time, etc).
Playing around in Photoshop or Illustrator only reveal oddities that may have been put there though the multiple scanning and copying processes.
That is odd.
If it’s a fake, then it either has to be NOT one of the certificates sent to the White House by Loretta J Fuddy, Director of the Hawaii Health Department, OR the letter from Loretta J Fuddy has to be a forgery as well.
Good find. This is the version that needs to be used as to simple show all the data that Obama wants to be redacted.
Depending on the software used in the scan, it could have an image to text program that is used for filing. Basically, it scans the document and pulls out everything it recognizes as text and adds it as a separate layer to the scanned document can be content searched. Pretty common.
Those white margins are contrast drop-out artifacts caused by the scanner that placed the image online when it created the jpeg image..
If you have a similar certificate with background markings or perhaps a check with a background, scan it and then open your scanned image in Photoshop. It will show the same thing.
Photoshop experts should weigh in on this in due time.
HA! Thanks, that was great.
Look inside the URL: http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/2011/04/27/president-obamas-long-form-birth-certificate and notice the words "-long-form-".
Then look at the PDF itself. It says "Certificate of Live Birth" COLB - NOT "BIRTH CERTIFICATE"
'Mike Wallace' Fake Document ALERT and MEDIA FAKEOUT ALERT!
Ditto. Plus, it’s distracting Obama; he can’t do his job, wahhh.
Your image is EXACTLY what I got when I opened it in Inkscape.
Same bits of black scrap text left behind.
I can’t figure out why the numbers are out of sequence with others born at that time.
