Rush: "As much as anything, this takedown of Sarah Palin is a warning to anybody else who's thinking about trying it. We can get you, too. Don't think they don't think that."

I think that's the money quote right there.

Churchill wasn’t a gelding ... the GOP only allows geldings ... with no spines.

I heard this caller and agreed with her wholeheartedly. We have spineless, gutless politicians in DC and especially in the Speaker’s office. Where are supposed men in Congress with the spine and guts to defend this country from the enemies within?

They must start telling the American people the names of the traitors who are destroying our country and destroying our children and grandchildren’s future.

Sarah Palin is now very much like Churchill in pre-WW-II days ... See what I mean in Sarah’s Facebook posting at https://www.facebook.com/notes/sarah-palin/america-deserves-libya-explanation/10150165452518435

Its not exactly like Churchill “stepped up to the plate”. He wanted to step up, but was not allowed to. He warned, and warned, and warned during the wilderness years, and hardly anyone was listening. Then finally when all hell was breaking loose, Chamberlain had made one too many mistakes, Churchill was thrust into the leadership position.

There is analogy here... with dire warnings about stagflation, hyperinflation, marxism over many years, and useful idiots still vote ‘rat.

Where is the GOP Churchill?,

He was sent back to England from the current hubris in the executive branch. Would anyone venture a guess as to why Obama sent his statue back?

Here's a clue............

This Honorary American Citizen understood the problem completely.     "How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries!     Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia     in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy.   Improvident habits, slovenly     systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of     property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.  A degraded     sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its     dignity and sanctity.  The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must     belong to some man as his absolute property - either as a child, a wife, or     a concubine - must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam     has ceased to be a great power among men."     "Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities.   Thousands become the     brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen: all know how to die.   But the influence     of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it.     No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.   Far from being moribund,     Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytising faith.   It has already spread     throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were     it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science - the science     against which it had vainly struggled - the civilisation of modern Europe might     fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome."    -- Winston Churchill

The caller’s premise is all wrong. Gov. Christie is answering the call by serving as New Jersey’s governor. There are plenty of ways to lead besides running for president. And little does she know the conservative base would destroy Christie if he ran. I’m glad he’s staying here in NJ for now.

Exactly right. If Christie can get NJ turned around and show off *real* results, that does more for the cause of limited government and cost reduction than anything else he could do.

The issue in NJ is the same in many states, and winning the battles at the state level has to be done by someone. Let’s leave the guys and gals who are winning these battles at the state level there to finish the job.

Caller: Where is the GOP Churchill?

DONALD TRUMP...

Churchill was in the Liberal party before he was in the Conservative party.

NEITHER THE LIBERALS OR CONSERVATIVES LIKED CHURCHILL AND THEY BOTH STABBED HIM IN THE BACK EVERY CHANCE THEY GOT...

The level of educational ignorance on history is remarkable in this country...
