I suppose you're trying very hard to somehow draw a distinction between the Donald (in your words, a "huckster" and a "charlatan") and the stain...true?
If I'm pressed to having to make a decsion for either the "huckster/charlatan" or the stain....I'll stand for the "huckster/charlatan" ...you can stay with the stain if you wish...or stay home. Whatever.
Hasn’t Iowa gone DIMocRAT in the last “how many” elections, including Clinton and BHO? If so, what makes THEM so precious?! Just askin’.
So what does Trump think about ethanol subsidies?
As goes Iowa.
So goes Iowa.
As goes Iowa.
So goes Iowa.
If by “the stain”, you mean McCain?... false. Why you brought him up is unknown to me.
In my book, someone with high name recognition, a liberal record, lotsa money and a big mouth he uses to lie through his teeth, is in no way presidential material to conservatives.
I get it though. Trump’s your guy.
RE: So what does Trump think about ethanol subsidies?
You can see what he has said on the issues here :
http://www.ontheissues.org/donald_trump.htm
Unfortunately, what he said publicly many, many years ago isn’t on this webpage (e.g. what he thinks of ethanol subsidies ).
My guess is when he’s talking to ethanol farmers, he’s going to say he’s for it, then he’ll turn around when he talks to other folks and say he’s against it.
The man has no fixed principles. He’s like a weather vane.
No....most unfortunately, you don't get it at all.
First: the stain is the thing in the WH.
So, in your universe, we have ". . . someone with high name recognition, a liberal record, lotsa money and a big mouth he uses to lie through his teeth." vs. the stain (see definition above).
And given the choice between the stain and Trump....I'll take Trump any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
GET IT??? A choice between the stain and the Donald???
GET IT???
I've been wondering for several months now. Pretty sad when a guy like Mark Levin gets trashed here but Trump's liberalism and flip flops get explained away. He donated to Dingy Hary and Chuck U Schumer? So what. Don't you know it's just business? Disgusting.
Now on the one hand you've got Obama, who is a radical socialist and never really tried to hide that fact.
On the other hand you've got ol' comb-over boy, a lifelong crony capitalist liberal who has suddenly gone all kinds of conservative since...oh, about Valentine's Day 2011.
So Reagan Man is right, no question that Trump is the bigger charlatan.
It's certainly interesting. JimRob made it quite clear that he personally sees Trump as a rino of Romneyesque proportions.
Yet the "Romneybots" get zotted while the Trump Chumps are allowed to drivel endlessly about comb-over boy.
We’ve already zotted a couple of overzealous trumpeteers for trashing Levin, Coulter, Malkin, etc, and I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if a few more don’t get the zot. There is no call to trash our conservative friends in a misguided effort to prop up a charlatan.
As long as Trump will say he has backed off the assault weapon ban thing and will not push for immigration reform I’m probably going to be on board if he runs. We have got to get rid of Barry and the rest of the field is not breaking strong.
The fact you find Trump so appealing to jump on his bandwagon this early and would consider voting for him, tells me you're an independent malcontent, but not a conservative.
We'll see who the choices are in the GOP field soon enough. It might be tough finding a full red blooded conservative, but I remain optimistic.
"My arms are getting tired", cried the weight lifter.
So...in a choice between the two....you select the stain?
I am a proud, registered independent...have been for over 20 years...and I've lived long enough to be well satisfied with my choice (I have been voting for over 45 years).
As to being on the "Trump" bandwagon... "I'll give it one more try..." cried the weary weighlifter., I am not on any such thing.
If given a choice between having to vote for Mr. Trump...or the stain....I will cast my vote with Mr. Trump. But then, I would cast my vote for ALMOST any one or anything other than the stain.
And once more, I agree.....there are simply no quality conservative candidates or even "almost" candidates who would or could eradicate the stain in 2012.
I was right. Trump's your guy, bandwagon or not! Okay.
We conservatives would rather take a wait and see approach. Its way too early to make a final decision. One thing is certain, Trump is not an option.
