Thanks for that info and link.
I have no idea what an HTML editor is, but I goodled it and saw that it is not as simple as they put it out to be.
Plus I don’t have FF 4, I did download and install it but didn’t like the stupid changes it made.
I fought for days to refresh from the new location of the refresh button. Why would they move that?
I mananged to get FF4 out of my hair though, it was dern near impossible to get back to the “comfortable” one but I did.
I'm going to put that one in my book, Words That Aren't But Should Be, Thypos Welcome

RE: HTML editors
The short answer: A simple (wysiwyg) HTML editor like Nvu lets you create a web page (or FR posting) in HTML (to control fonts, colors, tables, formatting, image sizes/alignments, etc.) more like you would in a word-processor, without having to fiddle with the HTML tags themselves during the creation process. Once you're finished ‘creating’, formatting, etc., you can then switch to ‘source’ view, copy the code, and paste it into FR. Pretty painless, and makes for WAY less typing, so can save you a lot of time (and/or the frustration you might experience when you neglect to close your tags properly and can't see where the error is.) A lot of email programs let you do the same kind of thing, although many of the HTML editors are a little more robust. One other thing it allows you to do (and what prompted my earlier comment) is to copy a portion of an HTML page, drop it into the editor, make changes easily, then drop the revised source code back into FR for a similar, yet modified, look. ...much easier than trying to wade through all that source code on a page, to get what you want.
...Oh-oh... I guess I promised a short answer, so better quit now! ...LOL
I had a lovely Easter. Am having some eye problems and taking it easy lately. You are such a thoughtful person and I thank you for it.
Lol, that’s great Seadog! I have it saved already. Love it!
LOL... He’s one of my favorite actors.
I liked him too - except when he wore his hair ‘really’ long, lol. He married Katherine Ross!
I use an email program to do that, but with my many small posts just put in the HMTL. <-—— Oops thypo lol!
That's great for someone that needs it, though.
Plus as you know, Firefox has that highlight and get source thingie, and for IE I use the add on “view partial source” unit that does the same thing.
Yuk, I CANNOT wade through a whole page of source and find what I want! So I use the cheater bars heh.
