Sadly, one down, and 499,999 to go.

Okay. Is it me, or does anyone think it is bizarre to have a security guard at an “Internet Cafe”?
Could be the neighborhood, I know, but...still.

Local reports suggest the internet cafe may have been targeted because similar stores in the area are functioning secretly as illegal gambling joints.Internet gambling?

Caught on CCTV: The terrifygratifying moment robber was shot dead after storming internet cafe Fixed.

I guess... I will say this: That guard is damned lucky he isn't dead. It looked like that perp who got shot actually had a gun to the guard's head for a second, but got distracted and the cop backed up and got away. I guess crack will distract you like that. Fortunately, the perp was likely an amateur. Check out this comment left on YouTube (Note: I never read them because 99% of the tiime, people who post comments there haven't got two brain cells to rub together) "...Isn't it a little harsh shooting a guy in the back when the situation is already over? I mean in Finland, the guard would get life for this..."

what were the robbers trying to take? They just waltz in and waltz out. Didn’t they know there was a guard there before they tried to rob the place? The guard was lucky I suppose. The robbers could’ve shot him while he was reaching for his gun

Some of the comments made at the link:
The video made my day, brought a smile to my face. You have to also love the loyalty of his friends when they dumped him in a parking lot to die, priceless!
Shot in the back eh? What a hero.
Who says there is no good news in the papers these days. If every crime ended this way crime levels would drop to zero in no time at all.
I really don't think I'd like to live in a country that needs an armed guard in an Internet Cafe.
Well done ! The dead man is certainly no loss to society. We are spared the cost of a trial complete with a "public" defender demanding this perp's rights. We are spared years of expense keeping this man in prison. It is a shame that the others escaped unharmed. Two more well placed rounds and the whole problem would have been solved at NO EXPENSE to the tax payer.

Odd how this was all caught on microphones. Usually its only the video not video with synced audio. And someone spliced the two feeds together in this video and uploaded it rather quickly.

They were planning on doing a “Pulp Fiction”. You can just hear the clever conversation? “Bro...nobody ever does Internet Cafes. All those dopes there with all their money, gambling on the Internet...we just walk in...”
Great planning. They even had plastic bags for the people to put their wallets in.

note how fast they run as soon as they realize the guard is armed.

I thought it was odd the dead perp went and picked up his empty bag before he left. Might have saved his life if he had not taken the extra time to have done that?
Perhaps he didn't want to be called a litterbug?

His injuries did not seem that severe, thought admittedly it’s hard to tell from here. I suspect that if he had been attended to promptly, he would be alive today. A little basic first aide and evacuation to the hospital probably would have saved his life. These jamokes are idiots.
To: driftdiver
Animals. Bloody animals. Note the lyrics of the rap as the video starts...sounded like “white guys” and “back of the head”.
Nah. Rap and Hip Hop are fun and safe.
