“And when did Trump do that? Today was his first foray into the Tea Party? Where was he two years ago? In the 2010 elections?”
Re-read your question. I was answering your question about Obama.
Trump, while I do have my severe reservations, will roll over anyone at this point...
I won’t vote for McCain, Giuliani, Romney, Huckabee, et al.
I just finished Don Rumsfeld’s book. If there is anyone QUALIFIED to be president, it is Donald Rumsfeld.
The issue isn’t really the economy as much as it is military.
We have a growing military threat in the world and it is not being addressed. A good economy isn’t going to stop bombs and missiles...
I haven’t heard a peep in the media about Iraq since Sodom Hussein Obama was elected. They are more worried about a handful of gay soldiers playing with each other’s wee wees...
Actually, unfortunately, I’m convinced it’s all going to have to fall and break before it’ll get better. The left is wrong about everything, rabid, insane, and evil. The Repubs are weak, spineless, amoral for the most part, servile; and they’re all liars and seemingly all power mad insiders. They’re so addicted to the false edifice that the best they can muster up is tinkering a tiny bit with details.
I hope you have stuff stocked up for whenever it does fall.
Unfortunately Rumsfeld said some months ago that he was fine with homos in the military, along with Bolton. Sick.
Lefists like radical Islam. They have a deep fellow-feeling for them, since they both are full of hatred. Kind of like how the Muslim Brotherhood or whatever its name was teamed up with the National Socialists in the 1930s.
It is inevitable... Look at how the Euro is failing...
The Federal Reserve and their quantitative easing is artificially propping up Wall Street because of the public employee retirement systems that are failing.
Germany owns the New York Stock Exchange now?
State governments alone have a 5.17 trillion dollar liability and no way to pay for it. We have too many government millionaires and way too many people working for government.
Trump is right on the mark in what he says about China and Iran. I hope he keeps on talking. Republicans need to get a new crop of people out front... the same old same old isn’t going to cut it...
Do you ever read Zero Hedge? I am not good with much financial stuff but get the sort of general gist. Plus they have other stuff besides straight financial, been covering the FukuNuku pretty well, very well actually.
I think the entire edifice will have to fall and turn into rubble. The globalism is going to doom the entire world; is dooming it. Like climbers all roped together. Makes the fall complete.
It’s very interesting.
The Vedas teach that the economy should be based on actual things - cows, grains, foodstuffs, arable land, cloth, gold and minerals, etc. Things that people actually need for existence. Once these layers and layers of greed and avarice and artificiality pile up to dizzying heights, it’s only a matter of time before it crashes. And this crash coming up will be a doozy.
Get earplugs!
Enjoyed your post...I don’t think any of us can know what Trumps up to behind what he is saying. But if you listen closely there are areas he’s not so confident in, and I’m not convinced he’ll run til the end...if he runs. It just seems there’s something more going on with this then meets the eye or ear.
There are several ways people can look at what Trumps motive is...and he surely always has one. He’s not doing this just for the country, there has to be something big in it for him..and not exactly the Pres. position....which I can’t see him in....he still leans too far left as I see it regardless of what he is saying now.
When you hear him speak about International Events and leaders he sees them only as business partners for the most part. But International Politics is a whole lot more than that. But you are right, I’m afraid, the public likes the feel good stuff and Trumps delivering that....could he deliver...I just don’t know what we could expect from him when it comes right down to it...risky says it best.
I’ll take a look tomorrow, got hardly any sleep last night and it’s past my bedtime!
One thing I question is why isn’t he running as a Democrate against Obama? He’d certainly rally those who he supported and then some. Many questions but then that might be exactly part of the plan...get people wondering.
Aha, listening now.
I found this a while ago and I’m learning to sing along. I find it very entrancing.

Although I like what Trump is saying, I remain skeptical of his motives.
Mark Levin is making a convincing case against Trump.

I thought about it a bit and I think Ryan doesn’t have the stomach for it but we’ll se how he does in this battle he was thrown into by Obama. So far he has acted with a lot of dignity but I’m afraid things are about to get heated up. You are right about the fact that there are a lot of good people NOT running. Personally Allen West jumps out at me but I know he admits to being nowhere near ready. I can’t quite figure out why Herman Cain isn’t being taken seriously. He seems to be the best one who has thrown his hat into the ring so far. I have heard Beck pushing for Santorum. For my taste, he is too much a part of the current establishment (I’ll have to see how he debates). I think Bachmann is o.k. but she has a snowballs chance in he## of making it. She doesn’t seem to me quite strong enough to take what will be coming at her (like Palin got hit). I guess we need some debates so we can see if any of them are right for us I don’t know if I see any of them standing out much.
That was huge mistake Reagan made. He put some in the presidency who would undo a large part of his legacy.
I have to admit my heart sunk on 1/20/89 in GHWB’s Inauguration speech when he talked about a “kinder, gentler nation” It’s one thing to be ‘kinder, gentler’ in our personal lives, but not as a government, much less one of the then two world Super Powers.
I also thought it was an insult to Reagan, whose success in office led to GHWB’s election. When he was on the ropes after the ‘88 IA caucuses, RWR made a point of having a lunch with GHWB at the WH and lifted him in the NH polls. The rest is history.
GHWB’s address sounded mighty like a repudiation of Reagan’s tough stances over the prior 8 years which led to the US at the end of that year being the ONLY Super Power.
” This time it will not pass quickly and we will be fortunate indeed, in fact it will be little short of a miracle if the Republic survives. In many respects it is a question of whether the Republic can be restored, there is little enough left of it as it is now.”
Things have been worse than they are now, or at least comparative. In 1856-1860 there was treason and malfeasance everywhere by those sworn to uphold the constitution, particularly on the part of many in the Buchanan administration concerning the Kansas constitution, but it was certainly not limited to them and most were never held to account.
Perhaps this time there might not be any putting Humpty Dumpty back together again, but I think it is certainly worth questioning what kind of person it would take and whether Mr. Trump is a guy up to the task. For me, there’s considerable doubt in my mind that he is the right person, although he has the fact that he isn’t a politician in his favor. But that is really the only point that makes him attractive because I don’t think that a non-stop spew of anger and discontent is a uniting factor on a national basis, accept among those who are angry and feeling disaffected; and that is the point I was trying to make. I would rather be united on more positive terms after having been put through rack and ruin. Absent that, I can only see it getting worse.
