That’s the only reason he’s doing this and it should be encouraged. Trump in the race as a 3rd party candidate will put damn near all 50 states in play for the R candidate, provided the R candidate excites the conservative base of the party.
With Trump in a 3 way race, it’ll be an electoral landslide for a conservative R candidate. Trump would probably even put NY in play.

We need to find the candidate that WE can all get along with and to hell with MSM "poll" numbers. Usually that is not going to be some "front runner" and damn sure will not be who the MSM is pushing. If we dont then the effort is fragmented and MSM will pick them off one by one until the only "republican" candidate left is the RINO or PRIC that they have chosen.
If this is not the case you would have seen a lot of potential candidates on the side of the donks in 2008, just like the pubies. Not there.
Now for 2012 the MSM is pumping out massive lists of pubie candidates that "might run." 15 - 20 names long with folks I have never heard of and micro-candidates that have NO chance.
Where are the long lists of dems? Not there and in the environment of little bammy the commie everyone loves to hate? NO ONE is running against him? That is astounding.

Right now Trump is doing significant damage to Obama on the birth certificate issue. Significant damage.
Trump is making it acceptable for mainstream folks to question Obama's eligibility and truthfulness. You couldn't do that six months ago. And if you tried, you'd be called a fool or a racist.

I agree. It's actually kind of creepy and makes you wonder what's really going on in our government. Since obama has been in office his entire party in the house AND the senate has been on board with him lock step. No dissenters. No honest criticism from the media. No dissent from Hillary after a bitter campaign. After getting shellacked in November, still no dissent or opposition from his party. Very weird.
I just cannot believe the Republicans blinked on the government shutdown...

My guess is that Donald is got something going to his benefit with the Obama administration if he actually runs since it will deliver the presidency to Obama. His assistant— pit-bull is more evidence to support this idea. Might not be correct but I wouldn’t put it past Obama and Compan

I feel the same way!!!! It looks like they are trying to choose one FOR us. Over my dead body! I am sick of being lied to by everyone (including the Rinos). When Nazi Pelosi said “elections shouldn’t matter” because the goals of both parties were basically the same (except the Tea Party, of course) that really rattled me. I had no idea that my head was in the sand so long that I allowed all of this to happen. NO MORE!!!!!
Hmmm, well the interesting part is a Democrat started this all back in January, Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie brought the issue back to life.
Professional politicians who care more about adulation, being in the in-crowd, their personal finances than Constitutional principles and on top of that aren’t even honest about their real viewpoints and positions are worse than outright Marxists. Dems want to - and are - taking us to hell in the fast lane, and Repubs are merely saying “hey, slow down just a tad, okay”.

Here’s my plan.Whatever we do, don’t question Trump and don’t scrutinize him too closely.
And let’s demonize Mark Levin and the like (you know, other Freepers, for instance), for wanting to ask all those pesky “questions” and stuff, that might reveal too much and make Trump look bad.
Let’s do an Alinsky move where we isolate and ridicule them, call them petty and suggest they’re Romneyites.
Because we all know there is no time to think. We’re in full-fledged panic mode, and it’s time to throw our brains out the window and throw caution to the wind.
