Finally home.
In the Stanley Cup:
Boston beat Montreal 2-1, 2nd OT
Kings over the Sharks 3-1, end of 2
Stars are playing golf.
It was a long day here in Benderville for a guy that is now fully retired making Saturday evenings feel like it’s Sunday night. The weather continues to be less then ideal for gardening and the soil temps are barely 50 degrees. Great growing conditions for slugs and snails. I had 4 young Blacktail Deer bedded down right next to the back gate of the garden today
It’s way too dry down here for any type of gardening or farming for that matter. Niece’s husband has already planted twice on part of his place. What has come up is getting battered from the winds.

A happy and blessed Easter to you (and everyone else) too.
Happy Easter everyone!
Happy Easter back at ya.
Happy Easter ALL.
I’m still waiting for my Hershery Easter Bunny :(((
I have 4 Easter Bunnies making money getting their pictures taken. (on shifts) They are not allowed to say a word. Bunnies do not talk.
Yesterday I took my 2 YO grandson for a pic. Afterwords they wanted me to get my pic taken with the bunny.
Went to the bunny and asked who was working. They wouldn't talk. I refused the pic because I was not sitting on the lap of my male bunny. I still don't know who was working.
I sat on Santa’s lap at the North Pole and I’m not gay although I did get a little pregnant
Are you getting rain or am I looking at Arkansas
Not a drop, breezy though with a lot of clouds heading north. Someone going to get some.
We are still waiting for Spring to happen on the high desert. It’s been so cold/snowy that the trees are just now starting to have buds. Current weather alert:
*NOAA Issue Date:4/25/2011 03:30:00 AM ...Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 6 Am this morning to 8 Am Pdt Tuesday for the south Washington...north and central Oregon Cascades... a Winter Weather Advisory for for snow remains in effect from 6 Am this morning to 8 Am Pdt Tuesday. * timing...snow will increase this morning and continue heavy at times into Tuesday morning. * accumulation...storm total accumulations is expected to range from 8 to 18 inches through Tuesday morning. The heaviest snow will be during the day today...but significant accumulations are likely to continue through tonight. * snow levels...snow levels between 3000 and 4000 feet will then fall to between 2000 and 3000 feet tonight through Tuesday. * wind...south to southwest winds will increase today. Gusts as high as 65 Mph expected for exposed areas. Winds will likely be a bit lighter near passes but still blustery. Any strong winds will significantly reduce visibility and may produce brief periods of near blizzard conditions when combined with heavy snow. * impacts...roads through the Cascades such as highways 35... 26...22...20 and 58 will become snow covered with difficult driving conditions. Strong winds will develop especially on exposed ridges Monday...producing white out conditions at times by afternoon. Precautionary/preparedness actions... a Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
We’re dry and breezy and will be until the clouds go away, then we will be dry and hot.
Repeat until August, maybe September.
