It looks like the actual question Romney responded to was "whether America is ready to seriously alter its large entitlement programs."

While Romney's answer probably and/or did mean he's not ready either, I think in the most literal sense, he's correct. Based on how the Dems are STILL able to scare most people poop-less when the demagogue SS and Medicare, I don't think America is seriously ready to alter those programs either. Pity.

“HELP!! Should I go for the free lunch or skip it because I will never support the RINO?”

Accept the free lunch and go to gather information. Report back to FreeRepublic and describe what happened and give any useful intel.

In #21, “the demagogue” should be “they demagogue”. Sorry.

Then we will just have to explain to them the facts: There is no more magic pixy dust available to support them. We are all we've got.

When baby boomers start to realize that they will have to support their parents for retirement and health needs, they might have second thoughts.

That’s why we need a leader. Someone to turn us around from the headlong dash to the cliff.

It sure would help the payments into SS if those 15,000,000 exported jobs were still paying in. It still takes 10 to support someone on SS. Now only 3 are paying into SS. The other 7 are in some other country. We have exported the pixy dust.

I honestly don't personally know a single Republican (or Democrat, but that's too be expected) that wants this guy to be president.

The little bit of personality he has is pure smarm. I wouldn't buy a sandwich from this oleaginous schlub.

The media pushing any republican to the masses is an alarm bell. That is how we got McLame.

Okay, okay, I’ll go; But only for the Cause!
That would be to do some good sleuthing and report back to Freepers what I find out about Mitten’s plan.

But I am never one to pass up the opportunity to stand up for Conservatism. So one RINO word and I’m either atta there or all over them. And if I get to ask a question, those folks have some ‘splainin to do about Romney Care.
What else should I ask?

No wallet or checkbook will accompany me to the lunch.
I hope they serve lobster! Oh, that would be Maine, not Massachusetts. :-(

And Babs wished that Sarah would "stay in Alaska"...said it in a TV interview. She thought she was being so funny and cute. I thought...

They need to zip Babs' senile mouth shut.

I don't like her any more!

Babs, Jr did one thing that I thought was really funny. When they got the fake IDs so they could drink margaritas at the Mexican restaurant in Austin, Babs used the name, "Barbara Pierce."

That was so typical 18-year-old college freshman. Not only was she the daughter of the POTUS, she used the maiden name of her grandmother, a former First Lady...like nobody was going to catch on who she was.
