Now enact voter I.D. and other election safeguard laws. These have the Left screaming almost as loudly as union busting laws.

Not to be confused with Elenor Holmes Horton of D.C.

Now is not the time to get giddy and start popping champagne corks. The left has shown historically that when the going gets tough, they dig their heels in and turn up the heat. We could learn a few things from them.

Congratulations! Really, truly exciting.
Maybe you can answer a question I’ve posed on FR a few times since this turnaround. I’ve closed several election polls in VA over the years, and we call our results in to the state electoral board that enters them in the state’s unofficial results.
The media follows that state board’s tallies. We never call anything into the media. I don’t know if it’s forbidden, but it’s just not done. Is there a reason the Clerks call their numbers into AP in WI?

Let’s hope he doesn’t throw away his values in pursuit of re-election—the way every other politician does.

This is likely to be the last Wisconsin election in which the Democrats have the advantage of support from organizations with the power to raise campaign funds coercively. And may it be propagated forthwith to all 57 states.

I heard recently that after Gov. Daniels ended mandatory dues collection in Indiana, union dues income from public employees fell by 95%.

No way. If that were so, why would it have been set up in the first place?
No. I have to believe that once people need to pull out the checkbook and send the money themselves, they’ll figure out real quick that they LIKE being non-union.

Walker for president in 2016. He might even save the country. The guy has serious chops.

If you look to Indiana after they stopped automatic dues collection union membership went from 16,000 to 1,500. Numbers from memory.

And if he doesn't run, he needs to put together and teach a mandatory seminary for all Republicans on regaining your gonads.

You mean if they can save $1000 a year at a time when their wages are frozen?
