Sarah Louise Palin

Born February 11, 1964 in Sandpoint, ID (Meets the Jus Soli Requirement)

Parents were
Charles R Heath, born in ID
Sarah Sheeran, born in WI

Both parents were US Citizens at the time of her birth (Meets the Jus Sanguinis Requirement)

Sarah Palin is a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN unlike Comrade Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama.

1) this guy is a total nutcase whackjob (Scharlott)
2) this is a student newspaper at a major public school (i.e. less trustworthy and objective than Pravda during the cold war)

Scholarly research? Seriously? This is why tenure needs to be revoked.

In his paper, Scharlott says that the “oddness of the McCain’s campaign response to the fake birth rumors should have caused reporters, ostensibly skeptical by training and nature, to wonder if something was amiss.”

Something WAS amiss, but not what this jerk suspects.

McCain's handlers hated Sarah Palin so much that they did everything they possibly could to undermine her, apparently not even caring if that might cost McCain the Presidency.

Why? Because Sarah was the real thing, and McCain and his handlers were all reach-across-the-aisle professional left-wing RINOs. Unfortunately this "academic" suffers from the same progressive disease.

This is hilarious. Just take those very same words and apply them to Obama, but that would never even cross this guy’s mind. Reporters, ostensibly skeptical by training and nature....?

I vaguely remember the "pregnancy hoax" claim. Wasn't the Left saying Trig really belonged to Bristol?

Since Bristol was knocked-up by "fiance" Levi Johnston with a different baby, what's the parentage of Trig supposed to be now? Do we need DNA tests? /s

The whole thing is absurd.

It couldn't possibly be that the rumor was so transparently false that there was no need to "rebut" it.....

Why give traction to an issue that doesn't exist except in the fevered minds of a few? McCain's campaign made a lot of bad moves, but this wasn't one of them.

Sheesh....
