Always good for Schumer to create a scapegoat or enemy when he doesn't have a rational argument to continue government spending as is or to make the minimal cuts (less than 1% of the budget) that he and his people are arguing for.
The main problem for the congressional GOP is that they don't have the guts to tell Schumer and friends that a government shutdown will be necessary if they don't come to grips with the reality of the massive deficit and debt.
Example: Jeff Sessions (R-AL), sparring with Schumer on today's show, could have been more forceful.
