But judging from a quick glance at the news coverage, his rope-a-dope strategy, if strategy it was, and not just incompetence, hasn't worked. It would have been better simply to have done the release right the first time. We'll see if it develops any legs.

By incompetence, I meant that showing the world a document which your average Freeper, who does not have a ten-digit net worth and is not running for President, knows instantly is a total joke. A competent player would know all there is to know about birth certificates before jumping willy-nilly into the field with his own risible cert. That's why many posters on this thread have suggested there has to be a strategy behind Trump's apparent incompetence. I'm impatient to see what it is ... So far, the answer, is oops, followed by a proper document dump, probably after Mr. Trump was brought under adult supervision.

We'll know Trump's strategy worked when Zero feels the need to show his in order to keep from losing support among independents. It may happen, but don't hold your breath.

The Donald is not just a birth certificate jockey. He gave some good answers last night to Bill O’Reilly. Not perfect. He has some liberal things going. But he is tightening up what he will say to certain questions

My prediction is his presentation will become less bombastic and more serious. He needs to do it this way——>>>
