Fund your own programs Tony, and pull in your lib friends. We are struggling to feed our own families right here at home.
If he really knows anyone who is going hungry then let him give that person $40 a week. Leave the rest of us out it.

Hall and his “fasters” are liars. If there is a problem with hunger, why is Michelle spending all those taxpayer dollars on an “anti-obesity” program and why are we importing poverty from central and south America into this country? Hmmmmm? Also, why is the government encouraging us to burn our food in our automobiles? Hmmmmm? Somebody is lying.
And not eating accomplishes what?
And, they’re going to designate which unhealthy foods they aren’t going to eat to maximize their protest: no to Burger King, take that McDonald’s, fuggedabowtit Domino’s, so there, Taco Bell.
WTF are 'open-ended fasts?'
I wonder if this is going to be one of those “rotating fasts” (if that’s the right term) that Jesse Jackson tried to pull off ten or twelve years ago. In a rotating fast, a team of people each eat nothing for some time period, like eight hours or four hours or even one hour. At the end of the time period, the “fasting person” goes and gets something to eat, and another person from the team “takes up the fast,” eating nothing for another time interval. The press covers this as if it were a “fast” or a “hunger strike,” giving media attention to whomever is designated as the “spokesman” for the fast group.
Remember back in the 1980s when 10 IRA members fasted themselves to death?

They can fast all they want. There is no money. There is no money. They either cannot figure that out, or they do not care or understand basic economics. Clearly they are Democrats who know only tax and spend.
Don’t think Tony could manage that. Whatever he’s been doing since he was a congresscritter is clearly not connected to life in taxpaying America.
When he starves to death, that will be one less to suck on the government teat.
How about that tried-and-true, 6-year old method of holding one's breath till red, then jumping up and down. That gets attention, too.
