RE :”Two wimmin’ folk in the primary would certainly be historical. I do believe Michelle has been drinking the Beltway water for far too long, however. She’s a voter, not a leader. I’ll vote for Palin before her. Bachmann’s IRS history gives me the creeps a bit too. But, I am leaning toward Herman Cain at the moment.

Michelle Bachmann is really fun to watch/listen to. She is getting good at MSM interviews. She was on NBC Sunday MTP not long ago and almost every got-ya question she was asked she replied “That's why we need to demand that $100M back that Obama hid in Obama-care”. It was truly priceless and how I would coach them to do. Then watching Matthews play the clip and complain about it was the icing on the cake, really making me laugh. He really cant stand her.

You gotta give Bachmann credit for taking on the MSM face to face, that can be dangerous but in this case it was great to watch.

Let's see what happens, who jumps in.

“there is a higher possibility she will stay on the sidelines and become a cheerleader, which is best for her and her family”

I would say it’s best for the rino-progressives and their families to start realizing just who they’re dealing with in Sarah Palin, and especially when they mess around with WE THE PEOPLE.

Also, on a more subterranean level, I think the current power brokers within the Republican party see Mrs Palin as a real threat to their grip on the levers of the Republican party.

Many people like Sarah Palin for the same reason that the Republican elites hate her--she isn't willing to "go along to get along" with the Democrats, and she won't cover for RINOs who do. Sarah's election would mean the political death of the RINOs who have been selling out this country for years, and the RINOs know it. If RINOs hate Sarah, that's good. The only way for conservatism to win is for it to stamp out those who would undermine it; the more quickly the RINOs draw the battle lines, the easier that will be.

And remember Reagan had to buck the Rockafeller good ole boys club of the Republican party. He did have to accept Bush1 as a running mate’ However, Reagan stood his ground in California unlike Nixon who ran to NY and gave us EPA and the Rockafellers. Of course Bush1 later showed he was also connected to the old boys club.

All these politicos starting these committees to see if they have a chance.....are not Leaders.

If you are a Leader ....you go out and TAKE the lead and lead the Charge.

If you look behind to see if they are following you, your eyes are not on the Objective.

Thank you Thomas...well stated and I believe this is what we need...but alas, 'politicians' are a dime a dozen, and most will pull their punches as well at times, to check the reaction of 'the base'...

Im still hopin someone like Col West steps up...

If Bachmann runs, I will help her any way I can.

“OBE is a business term”

OBE was originally an Annapolis term.

“made complaints, but it seemed to no avail.”

It’s pathetic here too.

We need poll watchers. Big, burly, mean-looking poll watchers.
