Hey Joe, Missouri list over here.
I thought this might have been a description of the space between her ears.
The vacuum is inside this woman’s head.
She should bring her vacuum over here. It is spring and my house is inundated with dog hair.
Won't work but sucks in more ways than one.
I nominate Albert Pujols, who had the courage to attend Glenn Beck’s massive D. C. rally when few GOP politicians did.
Anyone with his impressive life story, and a stellar grandmother named America, who molded his fine character, would honor the Senate with his presence. He would be head and shoulders above 99.9% of his colleagues....but of course, it wouldn’t be nearly as enjoyable as playing baseball.
By my ranking, she would be fifth or sixth behind:
Why do so many voters have a soft spot for the intellectually challenged?
I ran across this article about the national GOP presidential candidate situation. It seems that in the latest Pew poll, that Obama runs about 10 points ahead of a generic GOP candidate. Also that whoever is planning to run has to decide soon if they are going to get set up in the early primary states. Lots of GOP money sitting on the sidelines, waiting to commit.
I see Steelman/Akin as only 2 viable candidates. Steelman especially.Known statewide. Pro-Second Amendment, anti-tax, etc.
It's money, not beef steak. Money won't spoil.
"It certainly does suck."
If the stupid good ole boys club that is the Missouri GOP would pull their collective heads out of their butts and throw even a tiny fraction of their support behind Sarah Steelman, it wouldn’t even be a contest.
But they won’t.
Steelman won the State Treasurer office without their support. She almost won the Gubernatorial Primary over their golden boy Kenny Hulshof in 2008.
Sarah is a knife fighter and would be outstanding in the Senate.
Don’t forget John Tester, junior Senator from Montana. 4 1/2 years in and he has done nothing, except vote for Obamacare and whatever Baucus, Schumer etc. have asked for his vote.
They have promised some sort of wilderness giveaway in return for his Dem backing, but have not delivered. Basically he has given up his vote for .... nothing. Please have someone deliver us Montanans from Tester!
Someone in MO needs to research McCaskill’s role as a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee supposed to vet candidates (on the committee also were Leahy, Hillary, and Obama, wasn’t that convenient). She had SR 511 approved by both parties saying McCain was eligible and a clause inserted that former candidates thought to be ineligible were actually eligible. That was a lie, but it gave Obama a pass although forcing McCain to produce a birth certificate and bypassed the Constitution. Claire fixed it.
That paved the way for Dean and Pelosi to force Hillary’s delegates to illegally switch to Obama. Hillary had not exposed Obama because she thought the nomination was hers. After that it was too late. Congress will not start impeachment proceedings because they are all guilty of violating the Constitution to get their candidates approved.
Todd Akin was only 1 of 2 that voted against the CR last week. I called each republican reps offices to find out there positions and his staff told me he was solidly pro-life, against the CR and against Obamacare. Just that bit of information and being on his official website, has piqued my interest.
Ed Martin ran against Russ Carnahan. I heard him interviewed on BOT radio network and he sounded solid as well. He was on Mark Levin’s show last nite and I hadn’t realized this but he is actually the one that blew open this story on McCaskill. He also claimed Steelman is a RINO and is for big spending among other things.
Another MO FReeper (katiedidit) and I were trying to contact David Limbaugh to try and convince him to toss his hat in the ring. IMO he would be the perfect candidate/senator.
Whatever happens, McCaskill and her “damn” plane have seen their last days.
No Mikuluski?
Technically, Biden is still sort of “in” the Senate as the 101st senator. Not quite sure where he would fit in - somewhere between household appliances and Patty Murray I reckon.
I think Pat Leahy and Harry Reid should at least receive honorable mention.
David Limbaugh is the one republican I would vote for.
