The House Committee on Insurance offers the following substitute to HB 476:

Hokay.... Very interesting on my first few calls today.

It must be Secretary’s Day, because thus far, I have not been able to speak to a single secretary who is actually working with/for any representative, OR for the Governor...

Even though I call directly to a particular representative, the call is picked up by someone who is “just answering the phones”, because the secretary is unavailable for any number of vague reasons.

Even the Governors office. I called, explained the nature of my call, was told i would be connected to someone who could answer my questions, and was transferred to an answering machine which informed me that they could not answer right now, but would call back if I left a message.

It seems that the powers that be don’t like all those phones ringing, so they simply do not answer them. You can bet, that when I DO hear back from the Governor’s office, he is going to hear about HB476 and a WHOLE lot more about the way Georgia constituents are being given the run around when trying to contact their representatives!

So. EMAIL or FAX if you can, and call as a back up if you can.

I have to say, that they are making me pretty angry for this early in the morning...

Still no answer from our illustrious Gov. Deal. No surprise there.

It is clearer every day that we are truly in the battle for our lives, since so many of “our representatives” are working feverishly to secure the chains around our necks. Most citizens won’t even realize that their freedom is gone until some issue moves them to rise.

OH! And in the “Shocked! I am shocked I tell you!” category - Funny thing was, that NO ONE knew when the vote would take place either...

I can hear them hammering, building those chains on the anvils in Atlanta folks, and I am all the way down here in Brunswick : |
