Politico (Arm of Obama and Romney) is desperate.

CONCLUSION:
Politico is again a racist, faux news, polluting organization.

“And The Most Irresponsible Journalist Award Goes to The Politico’s Jonathan Martin!
So tell me, how do you write a “news” story about an organization paying for a speaker when you don’t even know if the organization is paying for the speaker?
Ask “journalist” Jonathan Martin. He knows all about it.
You see, Jonny wrote a piss poor story the other day about how the Iowa Family Policy Center will be paying a large speaker fee if Sarah Palin comes to Iowa to keynote the IFPC’s fall funderaiser.
The only problem is that Jonny has no sources confirming that any exorbitant fee is being charged or paid.
Jonny also got some inside info from David Kochel, who was a top aide to former (and future) presidential candidate, Mitt Romney.
Hey Dave, didn’t I just read a story about how Mitt Romney tried to buy off the Iowa Christian Alliance?
I heard you helped facilitate that little scheme. And somehow you are shocked at the thought of a well-known political figure (who very likely isn’t running for president) getting paid a speaker’s fee for (gasp) a public speaking appearance? ..
and then we’ve got Tim Albrecht quoted. He was the Iowa spokesman for Romney’s 2008 caucus campaign.”
And it always seemed like, whenever the Romney people had rumors they wanted to start about other candidates,
Jonny was their go-to guy to get those rumors in writing in front of a national audience.

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

Who benefits most from Sanford meltdown? Californian (that's right) Mitt Romney

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

She is freaking defending herself against a media vendetta that no other American has ever gone through, except George w. Bush, and he was a sitting president.

The only commonality is Politico’s equal disdain for Al Sharpton’s people and Sarah Palin’s people which is to say that they disdain all people who are not members of that little psuedo-intellectual elite in a far-distant capitol that think they can plan our lives for us better than we can plan them ourselves.

Boy they just can’t shuttup about her

they must fear her more than any other GOP

for that reason alone I would vote for her, even though I already know she has bigger ball than any of the other GOP crop of ‘candidates’

Mitt- go put on a dress- Palin will mop the floor with you in the debates and you are going to look like a fool hitting a woman

I'm way down on the list here, but I'm glad to see this post...for finally the leftists have brought this to a logical conclusion.

1. By this article they are finally admitting that Al Sharpton is no more than a poverty pimp and a race monger; 2. When they get to this point to slam Palin, they are running pretty low on ammunition.

The bottom line is, this isn't going to work either...trying to compare apples and oranges never works, and taking a remark made my Palin and equating that to DECADES of race pimping my Sharpton, is silly, and desperate.

I think the thing that most irritates the Palin-bashers is her habit of defending herself after being attacked. The fact that someone like Labash would compare her to a scoundrel like Al Sharpton says more about Labash than Palin.

Here is Matt Labash a real objective "conservative"...

Here is Matt Labash describing Palin in 2010...

- "annoying"
- "jingoistic"
- "shameless"
- "like a 15-year-old"

Excellent comments and rejoinders on this thread.

Equaly so—see the comments on the Politico site—these guys have been served a big heaping portion of backlash.

It is clear—the Left fears this woman.

And they should—she’s President No. 45.

Imagine having a real President who loves America once again.

It is easy if you try.

Retraction Request: Politico’s Jonathan Martin Smears Palin with False Facts

In his piece today entitled “Sarah Palin is wreaking havoc on the campaign trail, GOP sources say,” Politico’s Jonathan Martin (who was tasked with the Republican Party beat for the website for the 2008 elections) falsely claims Sarah Palin backed out of a scheduled interview with talk-radio host Mark Levin:

According to a source familiar with the situation, she backed out of planned interviews with conservative talk-show hosts Sean Hannity and Mark Levin the morning she was scheduled to talk to them.

Levin contested this claim on his facebook page, and has asked Politico to retract this statement:
This is a flat out lie. Sarah Palin never backed out of any interview with me. Period. And John Martin, the reporter, never contacted me to ask me directly. I insist on a retraction.

Red State seconded the request. Allow us to be third.

Martin came under scrutiny in the blogosphere during the 2008 campaign for leading the investigation into the personal life of Joe the Plumber. From Newsbusters:

Jonathan Martin of The Politico was among the first out of the gate, with blog posts noting that Wurzelbacher, affectionately known by most of America as “Joe The Plumber,” has a tax lien against him and doesn’t have a plumber’s license. Martin conveniently forgot to mention that the law doesn’t require one.

Jonathan Martin seems to be suffering from Palin Derangement Syndrome...

Jonathan Martin is more often than not full of crap.

Grassley and King Campaigns Confirm with Latest Palin Smear that Jonathan Martin is Full of Crap (Updated)

Eric Woolson, spokesperson for Senator Chuck Grassley’s campaign, for the record said, that the anonymous source “does not represent the Senator’s views.” So evidently Senator Grassley was not displeased with any interaction they had with the Palin camp.

She’s like the ex-girlfriend they’re SO over, never want to see again, have already forgotten about — really, it’s O-ver — but they just can’t stop talking about her.

Liberal: Ha, ha ... Sarah who? She’s over, she’s toast, a future Trivial Pursuit answer, nothing more.

Normal person: Whatever. How about the North Korean missiles?

Liberal: Can you believe she just resigned the governorship like that? What a quitter!

Normal person: Speaking of quitting, how’s work?

Liberal: Did you hear she might get a TV show? There’s no way Sarah Palin’s getting a TV show! No way! I can’t believe stupid Sarah Palin could get her own stupid TV show now. Well, I’m sure not gonna watch it — that’s for sure!

Normal person: Have you seen all the Michael Jackson coverage on TV?

Liberal: How does she think she can run for president in 2012 if she can’t finish her term as governor of a Podunk state? She’s finished.

Normal person: OK, then! You won’t have to vote for her.

Liberal: I was never going to vote for her! But now I’m not going to vote for her twice. And I will never watch her TV show. I am so over her.
