Rush Limbaugh, Head of the Limbaugh Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies, suggests voting for “the most Conservative candidate - period”.

I think endorsements are going to be important in this race. Someone has to get our front & sort it out for the less sure among us.

Also, a Presidential debate would be decisive.

Trump?!?! He praised Clinton during the impeachment.

Trump can only fool the fools who liked Perot in 1992. Perot but with a bigger ego.

Didn't say he could (or should) win, but if he inserts himself into this, he *will* be a force to be reckoned with and he'll have the ability to steer the debate and get out his message. And he can handle the most obvious members of the media elite face-to-face because he's been handing it to them for years.

So, yes, it should get interesting.

The point that Michele Bachman could be Palin-like without the battle damage is sure interesting. But don't we all know that she will get "Borked" just as badly?

If she were a threat, sure, she would be. As it is, Nancy Pelosi made an all-out effort to defeat Bachmann for re-election last year and failed. (Good.)

I see Michele's route to the top office as taking a detour through the Minnesota governorship (like Ronald Reagan, FDR, Jimmy Carter, Dubya, and Bill Clinton) or, alternatively, via the Senate to the vice-presidency, and then on to the White House -- call that the Nixon-Truman-LBJ model.

She needs some executive experience -- Obama is proving that former U.S. Senators make totally sucky Presidents. (That would have been true of McCain, too, but wasn't true of JFK -- the only other Senator to move directly to the White House.)

Interesting list, but I don't get any impression that the GOP Establishment/PRC has given up on imposing The Romneybot just yet. You can't discount the amount of cash he has been able to raise without breaking a sweat, as an earnest of continuing PRC/NWO favor.

Of the people you've got listed as RiNO/RNC picks, only Romney and Daniels likely have any real support among the RiNOrati .... and maybe Pawlenty as a fallback .... I don't think Haley Barbour, despite all his service in the RNC, is really going anywhere. He is from Mississippi, the Outcast Leper State, which makes Barbour a Leper, even if he won the Medal of Honor and the Nobel Peace Prize (which he'd never get because he's a Leper, even if he stopped World War III by himself).

How are you going to know? I don't expect they will announce it before hand.

They have to report their contributions and expenditures quarterly. Including how much the candidate “Loaned” his/her campain in the last quarter. So we will know well in advance if anybody is trying to buy the presidency. At least that’s how I look at it. I hope Cain doesn’t do that. Part of proving that you are a viable candidate is raising money. If you can’t raise money, you can raise votes.
