Blink?
Don’t give in to these DIM/LIB gangsters who flee the state to avoid voting. Resist. Give no quarter. If you love Free America...never give in to these THUGS!
The Reds don’t know how to take yes for an answer.
bad idea to give in now.... stand for something or go back to being the minority....
So they want to compromise on balancing the budget. That’s like a pro-lifer compromising on abortion.
But he and Sen. Tim Cullen, who were both working with Walker’s administration, said the latest offer was inadequate.
?
I can't remember off the top of my head an example of the Democrats rolling over and compromising when they had the majority.
sent a friend who lives in Wis about Walker losing support, they sent this back
>And Walker is losing support
Yes, I have TV on for maybe 1 hr./day and the high-class commercials in support of the unions are non-stop, heart-wrenching. I am just flabbergasted.
bkmrk
It’s not up to the Governor to negotiate since it’s a budget and legislator matter.
DON’T DO IT GOVERNOR!!!
IMHO
Should be shouting these bastards out
Rope a dope strategy NEVER works . . . only calling their bluffs and ridiculing their childishness . . .
Never Never Never!
When they're on the floor, on their back, with three people holding them down, their shoes taken off, their hairpiece taken off, their glasses taken off, they've got no more energy to try to bite anyone, got no more spit to spit, and they can't foul their pants anymore...
Then they want to talk "compromise." They'll want to compromise between everything they want and whatever was in the best offer made before they started to act out. Anything less will be "unfair," "piling on," "unilateralism."
If they get back in the driver's seat, there's no talk of compromise. Then it's "we won." Then it's "you can do the math." Then the door to the committee room is locked.
And in spite of their thuggery, their thug tactics and all the help they can get from the MSM, the White House, most of the billionaires, academia, and countless other sources, many covert...
They're still losing.
I guess elections don’t have consequences.
Walker isn’t budging on the important things...increased pension and insurance contributions and ending state collection of union dues. He’s bending on relatively unimportant things like rather than their having to vote yearly to ratify the union, they could vote every 2 years (I think). Also, rather than limiting their cb to salary only, they could bargain on some working conditions. I think it makes sense to bend a little to achieve much more, especially given the Rasmussen poll showing WI folks wanted him to compromise, at least nominally.
Stick a fork in him.
If he goes through with this, it gives the enemy of our country carte blanche to always pull this carp - run out of the state and call in the Union goons.
If this happens, they have won. And we are done.
I thought public safety unions weren’t included in the teacher limitation changes
Even so, if he's swayed by polls - he's not the leader we thought.
This is a crucial battle for the control of, not just WI, but our whole country.
