For an individual American worker to go against the union in the United States isn't much different than an average Mexican citizen going up against the Drug Cartels.
It will take a major action by Congress and backed by the police & courts to rein in the abuses of organized labor.
So, he made a threat, and you chickened. Didn't report him to anybody, didn't arrange a second meeting and record his threats. So whose fault is that??
RTW can't "work" if the potential victims don't take advantage of the law.
It's a lot different. Any union thug that attempts mayhem should end up with a blue hole in the middle of his forehead. Mexican citizens don't have that recourse.

I was 17 and 120 lbs. During the Sioux City Dressed Beef strike a couple years later some people, including a young girl were killed. No one was ever charged AFAIK.
Boastful talk is cheap. Action is more expensive and, therefore rare.
The post stands. You were the one who said "right-to-work, my ass". What do you expect state goverment to do, read your mind about threatening actions?? Right-to-work laws "work". I was living in Louisiana when that state made the transition from "union shop" to "right-to-work". Nobody was hurt. Of course, this is in the deep South, where everybody and his brother is armed (including 17 year olds). The unions knew better than to start anything.
The fact that you failed to report the incident reflects on YOU, not on Right-to-Work Laws.
