That is true.
Unethical and busted, I can only hope that someone cares.
Some of the e-mail:
“As you may have heard, Madison will convene a special council meeting on Thursday to extend
collective bargaining agreements so that all our unions are on the same footing, with a contract
through 2Oi2-. We ãre-racing against the clock so that our extensions will go into effect before the bill
becomes law. To make matters worse, if the state law goes into effect first, the amendments to the
agreements will make them null and void under the provisions of the new law. lf that happens, all our
employees will be subject to the benefit cuts ¡mmediately, instead of at the end of the current
contract”
...
“Mark Miller just spoke with Doug. He was reluctant with mark as well, but he’s wants to know if there
are other communities in a simil-ar situation. lf you are aware of any other cities which could use a
few extra days to complete contracts, let us know or call Doug directly.”

Teachers, police and firemen hold a revered place in the minds of most voters.
After this gets out they won’t, not much longer.
You know, they held that high esteem because they WERE honorable people then.
They aren’t any more, and I think as that reality sinks in, your average taxpayer will be thoroughly disgusted.
It is a shame, really.
“We are racing against the clock so that our extensions will go into effect before the bill becomes law. “
That whole email PROVES collusion!!! But that quote nails it!!!
Do the Repubs know, will this be gone after???
Something should be done!!
And the Republicans never segregated the collective bargaining rule into a separate bill that did not require the 2/3 quorum and could have sailed right through. It's like the WANT to lose.
Like McCain in 2008.
