Regan signed the statement, saying that Ailes did not intend for her to lie in an official investigation and frankly, I don’t think that Ailes is stupid enough to do something like that.
This might be meaningful if Ailes was a practicing attorney. You are really not supposed to slip over into being a consiglieri
Regan was the agent for Rush Limbaugh books. She would still be a nobody if she hadn’t represented Rush.
I doubt very much News Corp settle for 11 mill (for What claim) without a non disclosure clause. Apparently Regan has a vendetta going on, hope she’s ready to write an 11 mill check to FOX.
I used to watch Judith Regan's show on Fox News. Over the years, I decided she's not who she appeared to be on that show. IMO, she's capable of anything. I hope everything works out for Roger Ailes.
Anyway, I thought that lying about sex was ok with Democrats.
What-ever you can get away with is okay with Democrats.
“Why would the federal government have been investigating/questioning either Regan or Kerik back when Guiliani was considered a presidential hopeful?”
They were doing a background check on Kerik, as he had just been nominated by the Bush Administration to be the new head of Homeland Security. He is currently in Federal Prison. The investigation had nothing to do with Guiliani (except for the fact that Kerik and Guiliani were business partners at the time.)
That was the (non)connection I was hoping to see...the original linked Guliani and Ailes as being responsible so that Guiliani would benefit.
