That solves half their problem in that time slot. They don’t have the guts to fire Sptizer, but at least he doesn’t pretend to be “conservative”. I can’t stand to look at that sleazy snake, and when he dares to start moralizing, I get sick.
Just call the new show ‘Client 9” and be done with it.
"Turbulence" suggests some ups as well as the downs. Parker's program has been all downhill. Better lead-in would be "After months of plunging ratings and insipid programs . . ."

Spitzer is everything Sheen is, but he cleans up better and has an Ivy League education and can temper his public comments, so he's acceptable.
But...but...but Charlie is a Russian resistance fighter, a veteran of 'Nam', a Wall Street financier, a F-18 pilot, a major league pitcher, a jingle writing artist (an acknowledgement of those that still receive their ‘culture fix’ from the American Idol/Survivor/Hollywood/CNN tidbits of nourishment.

As for Spitzer-Parker, I saw some promos for their show and figured it was garbage. I was right and Parker’s gone, but CNN will eventually fire Client No. 9 also. This guy is about as entertaining and informative as one of Rahm Emanuel’s dead fish.
