Those are some interesting but not too surprising numbers. The 18-29 age group went heavily for Malloy. I suspect most are still leeching off mom and dad, don’t pay taxes and are tucked away safely in univerities where real life problems are hypothetical to their pea brains.

I’m in Milford. Where are you?

I plan on retiring to the Villages in Fla and play golf.

I went to the first Tea Party rally in Hartford. The media treated us like martians.

I don’t think there are enough of us right wingers left in Ct to shape an outcome. The only option is to leave.

Reminder, Malloy was elected by a very slim margin when a magic bag of votes appeared in Bridgeport.

That is an interesting map indeed. It may be a equally good indication of where not to move because of the infestation of people from CT. I’m sure some were seeking refuge, but I suspect others who moved brought their socialist baggage with them. Looks like FL and a good part of the Northeast are sunk.

New London county, home of casinos, Pfizer and EB. None of which look very stable at the moment.

I think moving would probably kill my mom (my dad passed away in 08), so since she is staying put, so am I.

If you look at other counties in the state, mine (NL, SE CT) is the only one who had a number of black lines coming in.

What the map doesn’t tell you is at the time Pfizer shut down a R&D facility in Michigan and most of the in-flows were researchers who decided to stick with Pfizer and relocate to New London/Groton.

Sorry to here about your dad.

And New London, home of the Kelo decision. How’s that redevelopment project coming?

Lots of weeds growing on it. And Pfizer closed their New London center which was right next door—most everyone thought they were pressuring local gov to develop that area.

Thankfully I don’t live in that city.

I heard an interesting story about the EB division long ago. It seems when the union went on strike, supervisors filled those jobs and productivity went UP despite a 2/3rds reduction in the labor force. Instead of the supervisors constantly having to tell people what to do, they just did it themselves and built those boats better and faster.

Good luck up their.

Yes. Unfortunately, the refugees from the NE are ruining the SW. They are overrunning AZ, NM and CO. Then you have to combine that with the refugees from CA moving to the other western states. They all bring their stupid unworkable liberal utopian ideas with them and ruin their new homes within a generation.

Like a swarm of locusts. I knew they infested NC, and certainly FL, but the Southwest as well? Could we be experiencing life imitates art vis a vis “Independence Day”?

I wonder how many living in CT will move to New Hampshire? While it has a Democrat governor, he is fiscally conservative, a good thing because their equivalent of a legislature is solidly Republican. While refusing to raise taxes, they are also building a big “rainy day fund”.

I live in Tampa, my mom moved to The Villages and hated it

The Villages are pretty much in the middle of nowhere and if you enjoy doing things besides golf and playing poker with a bunch of other retires you will hate it as well

Tampa is 2 hours away. Orlando is about the same

There are some great retirement communities a lot closer to Tampa or other major cities

Just my humble opinion

These are two of three things I most like to do! And I want to do them everyday for the rest of my life. =) Maybe every other day for the other one.

We visited down there several times, have friends there and know what its about.

Well, the good people of Cunnexttocut voted for this liberal, arrogant, demonRAT turd, so his positions should come as no surprise to any one.

If you are conservative, move, if you can't, you will suffer.

Actually, we didn't.

The election was stolen when, one week after Obama spoke in Bridgeport about the importance of the upcoming election, Acorn thugs in Bridgeport found a Magic Bag of uncounted ballot after the polls were closed.
The contents of that magic bag gave the election to Malloy.

It was obvious voter fraud but the CT GOP Central Committee did nothing because they are a bunch of spineless RINOs who wanted to just get along.
Plus there was something about the Chairman of the CT GOP Central Committee being related somehow to the CT official (Democrat) responsible for any recount.

What happened here was as corrupt as Chicago.
People are seriously considering bailing.

There's a reason why CTers call him "Bag O' Ballots" Malloy.

Sadly I’m gonna have to suffer. I felt worse after the Nov 2010 election than when O’Bumma won. Why? Because I knew people in conservative states would get a congress in there to block his agenda.

We already HAVE libtards controlling our assembly, so it was a green light and blank check for everything I can’t stand.

Thanks Bridgeport, you hell-hole!
