Hot damn. Trevor! If he don’t cry, I’ll be disappointed.
You might be seein the next Jeff Gordon right there. Go Wood Bros!
Dadgummit! What a birthday gift!!!! I can’t help but love this!!!!
DARREL: You just won the Daytona 500.
TREVOR: I what?
My hat’s off to the Wood Brothers!!!
Lap 208 — CHECKERED FLAG: Trevor Bayne holds off the field wins the Daytona 500!
Lap 207 — WHITE FLAG: Trevor Bayne has help from Bobby Labonte. Kurt Busch and Juan Montoya are coming.
Lap 206 — GREEN FLAG: Trevor Bayne is in the lead but was told to save fuel before the restart. Tony Stewart is on the outside and restarts second. Bobby Labonte moves into second as Kurt Busch charges through the middle.
Lap 205 — Trevor Bayne becomes the leader.
Lap 204 — David Ragan is headed to pit road and Dale Jr.’s No. 88 gets a tow to the garage.
Lap 203 — YELLOW FLAG NO. 16: David Ragan is black-flagged for changing lanes too soon on the restart. Robby Gordon gets loose but saves the car. As drivers avoid Gordon, they connect and wreck. Dale Earnhardt Jr. has heavy damage. Ryan Newman goes into the wall and collects Martin Truex Jr. as Kyle Busch heads to pit road.
Lap 202 — GREEN FLAG: David Ragan leads the field to green from the outside. Trevor Bayne is on the inside. Kyle Busch thinks he has a tire going down.
More bourbon.
Good job for him.
Is there any way we Smoke fans can see him not drift back to about 13-16 in the field? I thought he was past that this year but I guess some things nver change.
Awesome to see Trevor Bayne and the Wood Brothers in victory lane at Daytona.
Regan Smith ends up 7th even after that wreck...getting a push from Kyle Busch!
Yep
Cat in the hat just gave the kid a atta boy head scrub.
Who’da thunk?
I’m thinking Tony ran out of gas or something. Poor Mark Martin picked the wrong guy to last dance with.
He wasn't strong enough, unfortunately. Pushed Jr and Mark both back into the pack late in the race.
RamJets finish 28-36-10-9...sheesh, guess I didn’t get a two by two partner
one in top ten...............(((balloon collapsing))).................
Great thread ... thanks.
Now the season has started!! WooHoo!
Let’s not forget who got him the win and of course I mean Bobby LaBonte being cool under pressure
I for one am da*n glad it was someone other than the “Big 5” that won in a true upset.
God bless Trevor
