if a kid gets hurt somehow at a rally who was brought there via a school official, some parent can sue the ass of the district (but in the end the taxpayer pays that ,too-so it’s always a lose/lose proposition)

when gubmint “wins”, we all lose.

I can't count even on both hands the number of friends I have in the private sector who have taken a 100% pay cut over the past two years. These freeloaders are overplaying their hand, and the WI GOP caves, then WI deserves whatever it gets in the future.

Very interesting.

Not to mention the safety issue - a young kids in the middle of a bunch of union thugs? This is a recipe for disaster.

Human shields? That’s lower than low.

He said he’d call in the NG to replace workers if they go on strike- he’s not anticipating violence (at least not publicly).

He's using RR's model for the AT Controllers. They ended up being fired and came back crying to no avail.

The communists and some people on the right said that Glenn Beck is crazy. If this is not nipped in the bud, look for 0b0z0's communists and community organizers to burn most of US cities in a single "DAY OF ANGER" and repeat if necessary!

0h0m0llah will have his state of emergency and pull the Internet kill switch a la Mubarak and disarm the public.

Mu-Barak 0b0z0 will be happy to do it. What was that you were asking? Eligibility, huh?

Government employees would rather America die on the floor than give up their lottery style government salaries and pensions.

Government employee violence....Get ready for it

At which point the respective governors will disband the unions. Is an option that Walker has not used but could.

Yet...

17K a month is a lot. Either that or she can’t do math.

the gubmint unions need to get with reality - defined contribution plans (like everyone in the private sector has if they have a plan at all ) NOT defined benefit plans.

I can understand fulfilling existing contracts/obligations (at a reduced level)

,but NEW hires need new rules.

The gravy train has derailed-states are broke as are the feds.

Nowhere is that more obvious and provable than CA- the bellwether of our Grecian formula demise:

President Barack Obama says he's monitoring the tensions in Madison.

Just like he did in Egypt. He just keeps stirring the pot. The longer he and his kind are in power, the sooner we'll be seeing WWIII (and they'll be happy).

It’s going to be rich irony and crow eating when the ones lighting things on fire will be the unions and not the Tea Party.

Obama just said it looks like an ‘assault on unions’. Good observation!

That’s the single best political cartoon this year. Gets under much skin.

“The masses have no sympathy for these public union leeches. Their gravy train is over, their looting of taxpayers has left us all broke.
I’ll enjoy watching these stains on society lose their homes and not have a clue how to find work/income that isn’t a union handout.”

Amen, brother. They can piss and moan all they want. I say fire them all over the summer.

Yep, if split equally (that’s 600 per month each), then 0.07/600 = $8,571.43/month each. That’s more than most middle income earners in the country. Generally teachers land in the middle class pretty squarely. Apparently Madisonistan has a pretty high cost of living; that, or something’s wrong with her math (suprise! a publik skrewal teacher that can’t do math)...
